Back from the physio

Postby Osc » 13 Nov 2015, 15:05

Had a good session, I have been going to her for years so she knows me well. She says it's a complex injury but I have a good range of movement already as I have been doing what was recommended on the leaflet I got at the clinic last week. So .... crutches for another week, knee to toe elastic bandage for another while. I will be able to drive early next week (I can tell that myself) but no dancing for 4/6 weeks   She is booked almost till C/mas but I am on the "red"cancellation list as the injury is acute not chronic, and she might just get me back during her lunch break next Friday to see how I am doing.

Overall pretty good news Osc - well done.

Being able to drive sooner rather than later is good.

Regarding the dancing, could you just shuffle round, or stand on Mr Osc's feet?

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Osc.

You will miss your dancing I'm sure, but you will soon get back into it.

Shuffle around? - Not our Osc. :Hi:

Good news on the mobility Osc.

Bad as it is not to dance, best not to. A dancing friend of mine had plantar fasciitis. His physio kept relieving the symptoms then he kept bringing it back by going right back to dancing. Eventually he had to take a year off.

Hopefully it will recover very quickly.
