Good Morning Thursday

Postby tonicha » 12 Nov 2015, 05:13

Morning everyone

Up rather early as Grumpy's cough is keeping us both awake

Believe it or not, it's dark outside   but supposed to be a good day.

We're off shopping later, then I have a stack of ironing to do and we've decided to go to Tavira sometime soon and buy a few of those ginormous plastic storage boxes. We can use them to move stuff and then use them later too.

Possibly more packing later, really have made huge inroads in the last couple of days - the people who scavenge by the bins had a field day yesterday

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Work 4 - 9 then home for Masterchef. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning both, morning all :)

Sounds like you are really cracking on Ton, I think it's great that you can move so quickly over there once all is agreed, our moves here just take forever  :)

Ally, I'm starting a beginners Zumba class next week - I suppose I'd better buy some trainers  :?   Enjoy your run in the sun :D

Well the sun is out here too, hooray!!! :D  8-) I might finish those pots today, finally! I dropped a few hints at Mick last weekend but he wasn't listening, and it does really need doing  ;) I might also walk up to D's later, if she's in, to see her. Not seen her since Saturday night when we picked her up from the coach drop, and she's had a bad cold so I'll check if she needs anything fetching.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Gosh Ton things really do move quickly over there, as Kaz says it drags on forever here.

Nothing exciting happening today, we're off out for our usual weekly jaunt to M&S and Tesco after brekkie and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

greetings everyone - the days are just flying by at the moment; which is a good thing but I really could do with a few more personal hours in the day.

Osc, were you prescribed any form of antibiotics - if yes could be that they're upsetting your system? Otherwise down here there are loads of people coming down with various forms of coughs and sputters - it's just silly season for colds etc.
Looking forward to hearing how the Zumba goes next week Kaz; they're meant to be quite fun
Ton, that move is really coming along at a rapid pace - that's really fab. And good that people are benefiting from what you no longer need vs it ending up on a dump.
Ally have a fab day - nothing unusual when I say I'm jealous of your sunshine :)
Jen, enjoy a quiet day

Usual work day for me then home to sort out yet another hoglet - 418gr this one is.... that's 8 now that were found in my / my neighbours garden. I know of one more that needs nabbing, just hope he/she obliges soon :)

have a lovely day all

Afternoon :)
Not quite raining here but awfully dark and windy and looks like it could chuck it down any minute.

Well, I've been out for a meeting this morning, all very interesting and productive, will post on t'other board ;) :)
Kaz I don't know if trainers would be the right thing or not, may be worth a phone call to ask about the best type of footwear?
Lol I still haven't bought anything for my pots  Some of them are now empty though, so I'm getting there :D
Ton don't make the boxes too big, you still have to lift them ;) :)
Hope you feel better soon Osc x
Gosh meriad, all those little hogs! We do usually have one resident adult but not seen any babies.

Another nice afternoon reading for me I think :)

Hi all, sorry been AWOL for a few days....the news on Saturday has really knocked me for six and I found out last night that the funeral is next Wednesday which means Jen will be in Vienna and can't attend :( Tom will go with me, I've managed to get the morning off work (which I was worried about as I have no holidays left until January but I'll pay the time back at some point)

Speaking of Tom, he's had his cortisone injection into his heel (the plantar thing) so is currently off work 'sick' - he is not a patient patient!! D took him to the hospital on Tuesday and he's been laid up ever since, he has to not weight bear as much as possible for "at least 7-10 days" but he still can't feel any difference, it's still painful :( I have been out this morning and made a start on C word shopping - got Lewis a reindeer jumper and Lily a cute little two piece outfit. Amy's sale went through this week so she is now a homeowner and T is mortgage free!! :D She was so excited at first then became a little overwhelmed - she stayed at ours last night.

Our weather has been lovely today if a little breezy....hardly seen Jen this week - yesterday she took some pieces up to Gateshead for a show for Age UK and then went straight to work from there to do a 5-12 shift - she didn't get home till turned 1am and then was out the door shortly after 7 this morning as she is on early shift today! Someone needs to sort their rotas out better!

Hope everyone is ok xxxxxx

I'll let you know how I get on Ria :D :? Good luck to the little hoglets :)

Di, Jane who does the classes always wears trainers - she comes to WW dressed for Zumba as the class on Monday mornings is straight after WW, in the same hall, and from some photos she's put on FB it seems either trainers or plimsolls are the thing. I have the white plimsolls I bought for my holiday so I'll wear those for now I think, along with leggings and a baggy teeshirt :) If I take to it, then I might buy some gear ;)

Osc no wonder you feel a bit 'off' with your injury, I'm sure as it gets better then so will your mood ((((x)))

I've been sorting more jumpers out, I thought there were a few missing when I emptied the vac bags so I looked in the spare suitcase and there was another bag full! So I've been washing and drying those to put away. I also went out to get some tumble dryer sheets, and some dried pasta as I am making a lamb mince version of spag bol for dinner tonight and had run out of pasta. It's a good 'excuse' to get a good walk anyway 8-) I couldn't finish my pots after all - it suddenly poured down not long before I went out, so it would have been like playing mud pies
