Abigail, the floozy....

Postby Workingman » 11 Nov 2015, 15:58

.... she is about to breeze in without so much as a by-your-leave and then breeze out again.

I am talking about Storm Abigail, the first officially named storm. Somehow Abigail does not sound right for a storm - it is too nice. But then again I cannot think of a girl's name to conjure up the calamity of a storm.

Maybe it is just me.

It does sound very English! Sort of too polite for a storm really, more like a gentle summer breeze

Ah, OK.

I'll bank it for later in the year along with Gale Gail and Hurricane Hannah. ;)

Storm Tumbelina, not quite as strong as Agatha, but she could still bowl you over. ;) :P :P
