Decision time

Postby tonicha » 08 Nov 2015, 19:23

Do we accept an offer of 175,000€ if the house we want will also drop?

I'll be making a phone call tomorrow, to the other agent and see what he has to say.

Or do we wait for another year or so.......................

If it means you can still get what you want Ton, go for it.

I'm all for going for it - Grumpy is still worried that the price we paid for the house, 12 years ago, is only 5,000 less.

But the market has changed so much in that time.

I'm sure we can afford to do it, it's a smaller house, there are solar panels, as well as free water, and proper lecky.

I've told him to think about it over night.

But the last thing I want is for him to feel I've put any pressure on him.

I will also say that this is more about me wanting to move, rather than him.

He is a very measured person, happy where he is, not wanting new adventures. It was bad enough getting him over here 8-)

He will enjoy it when he's there, but oh dear, the changes.................

He's Libra, which makes it even worse

Yes, this, I think, and perhaps even if they don't bring their price down. It's a big decision, moving house, but sometimes you just gotta grasp the nettle and go for it rather than spend another year wondering "if only" ....

Just my 2c worth, Ton ...

Does anything hold its price these days
If you don't do it you will allways wonder what might have been
We all make good and bad decisions most are for the best
