Good afternoon all.

We have been into town this morning for a bit of shopping.
We walked both ways, as we read the other day that a good regular walking habit improves
one's immune system, so maybe we will have a better winter, health-wise, than last year.
I'm certainly looking forward to my lunch now.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Hi all, had a very lazy morning cos the weather is so horrible, wild winds and rain :( Jen has gone into town to have lunch with her friend, a standing arrangement, but first she and I called to see her Nana, and to take a sympathy card round. Jen's Aunty S (who is nearly 36) still lives at home so we saw them both, had a huge cuddle and talked about Aunty L....seems her passing was very sudden so I think there is still some shock. I am still very subdued and down....she was so young....

Think T and I are going out for a spot of lunch ourselves soon....Lewis is currently in London with his other gran and Amy, they went to see the show Elf yesterday afternoon and will be heading home soon...they're on the coach which takes about 6 hours or so :|

Have a lovely Sunday everyone xxx

That sounds like a nice day to me Di, hope you enjoy it :)

Aggers, I am sure the walking does us all good :D Enjoy your lunch! :)

((((Gal)))) It is upsetting and such a shame, as 50-odd is no age these days :( M's uncle is dying at the moment, he is going into a care home on Monday, not expected to last the fortnight :( It's sad but he is an old man, and that is the way of things - with younger people it always seems wrong somehow :(

That's a long couch ride for a little one, 6 hours to sit still! D came home from Scotland last night (we picked her up from the coach drop-off) and the journey took 12 hours from Inverness :o They did have four stops, but even sol! She was shattered, so we took her home, I made a cuppa and put the heating on, and we stayed for a little while......

Afternoon all, the weather has been pretty miserable here but it has finally stopped raining and the sky is actually clearing. Nice to see my brother last night and this morning, he has gone now to stay the night with friends before going to Fuertaventura tomorrow. We are going to Miss Osc's for dinner and she is collecting us in about 15 minutes so I had better get myself down the stairs on my bottom, not too dignified for a lady of my years ;) ;) I can put some gentle weight on my foot now and am getting quite adept on the crutches. Back home for the Strictly results. Hope everyone is enjoying their day :)
