Afternoon

Dark and horrid and wet here.

Been to the hospital this morning for my regular check-up with the lovely Dr A. We're both agreed that although there's a bit more pain and I'm getting more tired, there's no particular sign of anything more being wrong so are leaving well alone.
Set the breadmaker up last night so there was a gorgeous smell when I got up, but I'd set it to large instead of medium and it came out all one-sided

Tastes good though.
Called in at W/rose and found a bargain chicken (£2.39!) so it's unexpected roast chicken for dinner

Debih our pc man fixes phones, gives them new screens, etc, apparently pretty cheap

I definitely need some clothes Osc, really must organise myself for a trip to some proper shops

I've had to buy new clothes for this winter, I've bought a few new tops but I also got a new skirt in Sainsbury's, a black denim pencil one - all of my old skirts are too big and move round on their own when I walk! This one is a 12, and was half price as well

I walked up there as we were out of fruit, came out with a skirt :oops:

Debih that's a nuisance. My sister is still off work, almost 5 weeks after her jaw surgery, so I suppose she'll have to do a similar interview herself - she's a manager in Adult Social Services. The phones for the girls sound good, but if the old ones ar eon contract won't they replace broken or damaged ones? They did when B dropped hers...........
