Remind me

Postby Kaz » 03 Nov 2015, 21:40

NOT to stand too close to the garage when I pull down the overhead door! I managed to pull it down on top of me earlier - it hit me on the head and nearly knocked myself silly. Well, sillier anyway :P

I seem to have got away with it remarkably lightly, not even a bump or a headache and it came down with quite a bang. I must have a tough old nut!!!

I could have knocked myself out, and nobody else was home at the time - B was at work and Mick still on his way home!

It's a garage door.

They come down to close.

Trig and Science can show you the path they take.

"NOT to stand too close" seems like a good bet. ;) 8-)

Oh dear, Kaz. I bet you won't do that again.

It's easily done though - (It happened to me once).

Glad you are not damaged.

Yes, thanks Cal ;) Luckily it didn't hit anything important :P

Ria it did hurt, although not as much afterwards as I thought it would - I think I'm unscathed ;)

Aggers thanks :) I had never done it before and trust I never will again! It doesn't help that we now have two cars on the drive and to fit them both on B's is parked very close to the door, in fact there is barely room for the door to clear. That means you have to kind of dodge round it as the door is closing, and I didn't dodge fast enough  ;)
