Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 19 Oct 2015, 05:57

Good morning. :D

Scattered showers forecast for today...and for the rest of the week. Looks like Europe is a wet spot.

I'm getting the 11.33am train to Fuengirola to meet up with Paddypix. She's going to meet me at the station. :Hi: :Hi:

Really looking forward to seeing her again. :D :D :D

On the way home I must (yes must! ) pop into H&M at the station mall. I nipped in on Saturday having 10 minutes to kill before our train and in those 10 minutes mentally bought 2 dresses and a shirt. Today I shall physically buy them.

Don's job today  is to put the duvet back on the bed. Not having been on since early May that's going to feel weird tonight.  I'll probably kick it off after 2 minutes.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally :) Morning everyone :)

Ally, please give Liz a huge hug from me :D Have a lovely time, and of course you must get those new clothes on the way back ;) 8-)

It's very murky here this morning! Up early as I have to leave the house around 9am to get to my appointment by 9.45 for the 24hr ECG monitor thing. I have to wear it clipped to my bra apparently, and will have to keep that on until they remove the monitor at the same time tomorrow morning  No showering or bathing in that time, so it will be a careful wash tonight and tomorrow morning then I suppose :o  B is coming with me, as we are walking on into town afterwards for a couple of bits, and then home again. I've made big inroads into the holiday washing and also putting away my summer stuff into the vac bags for winter, and I'll get that finished when we get back. Mick is away tomorrow for three nights on business, so I have some ironing and yet more packing to do! Honestly, it's been like a Chinese laundry here for the past few days

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning you two. A rather grey and damp day here today. I've got 1/2 day as my boiler is being serviced - looking forward to having the afternoon at home :D

Ally have just the best time and please give Liz a big hug from me as well x
Kaz, good luck with the monitor thing; hopefully the results (when do you get them) are reassuring x

I'm just a tad tired today - didn't sleep very well last night. I go to bed an am cold but then come 3am or so I wake up boiling hot and then just can't get comfortable again and end up tossing and turning until about 1/2 hour before the alarm goes off and then typically I fall into a really deep sleep. Sigh... have plan b for tonight; hopefully that'll work :D

have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

Good luck with the monitor Kaz. Enjoy meeting Paddypix Ally.

M is still bleeding so today they're doing a sigmoidoscopy and it's likely she'll be in hospital for another night. I'm trying not to think of all the worst case scenario's. Z had to be at Guy's for 7am so hopefully that means she's first on the list. My stomach is absolutely churning, goodness know how they both feel. Today is going to be a loooong day for all of us.

We've got a couple of builders coming to talk about the extension, one at 10 this morning, the other at 2pm. It's not likely to take my mind off what's going on, but at least it will give me something to do other than keep staring at the clock waiting for news.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Piddling down :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: and lots more to come :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Sending you all shed loads of vibes Jen xx A sigmoidoscopy isn't too bad, just uncomfy and they'll be able to see straightaway what the problem is.

Have a great meet with PP Ally and a hug from me too please xx

And good luck Kaz xx Hope it's not too uncomfy, wearing that for 23 hours. And let's hope they get the results back to you pronto too.

Ria, I have exactly the same problem  I fell asleep at about 6.30, having been awake since 4.30 and then didn't wake up until almost 9  Hope you have a better night tonight xx

So an inside day for us, I'll give the oven a clean after last nights roast and find other houseworkery stuff to do.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Pleased I'm not the only one with sleep problems. I wake most nights between 2-4 am then lie awake for an hour or 2. I slept right through last night, I was very proud of myself. . First night in over a fortnight.

Jen, hope M us all ok.
Kaz good luck with the monitor

My week is not going at all like planned. My great aunt passed away sat morning, her funeral is in Hamilton (2 hour drive away south) then her burial is in Raglan (3/4 hour drive west over a mountain range) then the drive home is another 2 hours, so I'm in for about 5 hours driving on Wednesday on country highways at 100km/h. I've been asked to be a pallbearer so I can't sneak out of not going to raglan either.. My uncle is planning 2 services, as he's assuming people closer to one won't go to the other. It will be good to see my ultra extended family again, I think it was 5 years ago I saw some of them.

Still to get there on Wednesday, I've shifted my Wednesday hours at the Y to today and Friday, I've been at my FILs tonight as he's had a huge order cone in, and looks like I've now got a client meeting tomorrow at some stage as we have s problem with done stock. Tomorrow I've also got my course. No idea when I'm going to go shopping for something nice for the funeral.
Everything happens for a reason

I'm back and all wired up ;) There is a small mobile-sized unit clipped to my bra and three ECG pads with wires stuck to my chest. They feel fine but the wires trail a bit low so I wished I had worn a longer jumper :? I have a chart to fill in, as to what I am doing all day, and when, so I ahd better behave myself I suppose :P ;)

Jen, it will be a long old day for you, and I am sending my very best to all of you (((((((((((((((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Weka, I am sorry to hear you sad news xxxxx
