Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 17 Oct 2015, 06:13

Good morning. :D

Sunshine and a few wispy clouds and still lovely and warm. 8-) 8-)

Don and I are off to Torremolinos this morning. We've booked into a hotel for the night. :D :D

We're meeting up with mum and dad and going for lunch. :D :D

We're then going to walk along the prom to Benalmadena port, have a mooch in the shops and a look at the boats. :D

A beer or two this evening and dinner out somewhere. :D

Have a great day everyone and see you tomorrow. :D :D :D :D

Morning Ally, have a fab time and looking forward to hearing all about it :D

Nothing exciting planned for me today - off to a wildlife rescue a bit later to drop off a little hedgehog that's too small for hibernation. I have about 3 or 4 that I've been monitoring that I need to try and catch to get to the rescue - fun times ahead

Then maybe a bit of shopping. I may have Thomas with me tomorrow afternoon in which case Karl and Nadine may all stay for dinner when they collect him... need to confirm everything today - all still up in the air a bit

Other than that just the usual domestic stuff that needs doing on a weekend - sigh :(

have a lovely day all xxx

Morning Ton, curry sounds good 8-)

Well, we are home :) We had a really really good holiday this time - fantastic food, mostly good weather and some nice company, but it was soooo nice to finally get home at 2am this morning to a rapturous welcome from both dogs and daughter - they had waited up for us :D :D Fraggle was so excited I thought he would burst :D   Slept like logs and now about to start the dreaded unpacking and put the first wash on.  Later we'll pop round and see D :)

Have a great day everyone :) xxxx

Morning :)
Same again here, dull but dry.

Welcome back Kaz, so glad you had a good time :)
Ally have a fab weekend, a mini-holiday for you too :)
Ton we had the golf on briefly yesterday, just to see the sunshine in Vilamoura :) and they were talking about bad weather due for the weekend, hope it's not as bad as they thought x

Well Bb directed me to the farm yesterday, I think I'm happy I'll find it on my own now :)
Also the wool shop, which had a voucher for a free pattern in the local free mag, which I can also never find on my own!
It's daft, I'm really good at navigating, but this village is weird, it's very spread out, and there are a couple of really long lanes with no turnings, no real points to note. The places I wanted to find are each off one of these lanes, and I'm still not quite sure how you get from one lane to the other :?

Today not sure what I'm doing. Bb has gone out working. I should be doing more washing but that's going to wait. I might go down to the market...decisions decisions :)
Have a good day all and hope Osc's not feeling too bad

Morning all, it's a nice bright day here and appropriately chilly for the time of year. I'm still feeling pretty rubbish but have dosed myself with paracetemol as I have a lot to do. We have friends coming for lunch tomorrow and then we are going dancing - can't cancel them as we have been trying to arrange it for ages around her nursing rota. So it's off shopping for me this morning, while Mr Osc does the hoovering around and tidying up. Then this afternoon we are going to Miss Osc's house so Mr Osc can blow the candles out on the birthday cake that Michael and his mummy made for him - he Facetimed Mr Osc last night to show him the cake :D Not sure how I came to be married to someone who is 67   Lots of sport on today, and SCD this evening. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Well it's dry, but that's about the best I can say

Glad you had a nice holibobs Kaz. The unpacking and washing isn't my favourite job, but when I remind myself it's all needed for the next one it doesn't seem so much of a chore

The drawings for our proposed extension have come through so now we're busy phoning builders to see what quotes they come up with. We'd already sounded out a couple for a ball park figure, but now we'll get a much more accurate idea of the costs involved. We're not looking for anything too complicated, it's the increase in living space which counts most. Nothing's likely to get started this side of Christmas, but at least we can get things moving.

I ordered a few bits from M&S so will be popping over to pick them up this morning. Apart from that it's the usual washing and house stuff, oh and of course Strictly this evening.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning everybody
Been out shopping this morning with mrs.e. First time I have been out of the house since Monday afternoon. Mrs.e drove the car as I cannot do it until I have seen the optician in two weeks.

Still some clouds about but I can see some blue sky as well. It will be nice to have some rain as the grass on the lawn does not look very healthy.
Got a busy few days. Alarm test next week. New Electricity meter being fitted week after. Visit to optician, Check with consultant to make sure eye operation is OK, check on feet as part of diabetic screening,
appointment with nurse for annual diabetic check..
Am also going to a lunch with some other work colleagues who are retired. Hope to go back dancing in November. And I will be having another birthday so some more celibratitions
Will need another holiday. Got one planned for the end of January 2016.
