Morning all on the day we leave Lisbon after a lovely few days. There is some cloud out there but it looks nice. We'll check out of the hotel at 12 then head out to the airport for our afternoon flight home. Have a good day everyone

Wow Kaz that week has flown over!! Safe journey back - you will be just getting home as we start our week away....going back to Alnmouth for a week from tomorrow

Cloudy today, and I am a little worried as Smudge has not come in from his regular night shift Normal yesterday, he went out last night and always Tom lets him in and gives him food when he gets up at 5, so when I come down Smudge is curled up on the back of the armchair where he sleeps - not today And I've been up since 8ish....gosh I hope he comes home soon!

Have to go into town to collect some M&S trousers I ordered from the click and collect, and get some bits then I might stop for a coffee and a read of the paper, then I need to pack! There's a wash on now, hopefully can get those sorted and then we'll be away tomorrow morning - I'm taking the laptop as the cottage has wifi, and I don't like using my phone....so will pop in of an evening now and again

Bit overcast here, not sure what the forecast is.

Well our flooring peeps didn't turn up yesterday, can't tell you how annoyed we were Anyway I rang the shop as soon as they opened and the guys are here now, fingers crossed it turns out okay and we can get the plumber back to put the toilet base fittings in Honestly the sooner this is all finished the better!!

Duller here today but at least it's dry. Having a day off from the endless washing, but I did get most of the summer stuff packed away yesterday.

A week does fly by doesn't it Kaz, you'll be needing to stop withdrawal symptoms by booking another as soon as you get home

Osc so glad you've had a good time, such a lovely place

I went to a new 'knitters and stitchers' thing yesterday afternoon, I enjoyed it but need to speak to them about a better chair...
Bb did ok, and is going out again today but not till this afternoon
