Morning Ally

Have fun with the parents today x

sitting here with a cuppa in hand and trying to find my mojo to get going for the day - lovely lazy day planned sorting out the garden / greenhouse etc. Bit misty at the moment but the sun is trying to break through, looks lovely - a soft yellowy glow.

Osc's comment (on Friday I think it was) about Mr O making bolognese sauce got me fancying some, so I'll be doing that shortly so it has time in the slow cooker - oh and I have to vacuum at some point :( - And that's my day all planned.

Have a lovely day everyone whatever it is you're up to. Hope Kaz and M are having a good time with fab weather x

Morning all :D

Started a bit misty, but seems to be clearing now.

Not much planned for today, more washing on the go and might do a bit of a tidy up in the garden later if the weather stays nice. It's roast chicken for dinner later followed by jelly and blancmange.....yummy :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, pretty dull here, I have towels on the line but suspect they will end up in the dryer later  As Ally said on the other thread, today is Kellie's first birthday and we will head off later to their house for birthday cake. We won't hang around too much though, as Mr Osc likes to watch important sport on his own telly and today's sport is very very important - Ireland in rugby and soccer, and of course after that we will have the Strictly results show.

We are mooching around in our tracksuits at the moment but I had better get a move on, need to pack for our trip to Lisbon tomorrow - Ton, that rain seems to be heading to meet us tomorrow and keeping us company on Tuesday   Enjoy your Sunday everyone :)

Hey everyone. Having a fantastic time here but as the wifi is very sporadic I'm just saying hi quickly and going back to my lunch on the beach :D xxx

Afternoon :)

We got back Friday evening so yesterday was spent trying to get things organised but being too tired to get far!
Today is cold but at least it's turned out lovely and sunny, I can live with that :D
Second lot of washing is outside, trouble is all this summer stuff will need to go away and the wintery stuff needs coming out...I need a fairy ;)

And friend is down with another friend, so we might be going out for dinner with them tonight, which will save me wondering what to cook although I might fall asleep in my plate :?

Osc don't know what time you're off tomorrow but hope you have a fabulous time :) x

Good afternoon everybody
It has been hectic since we got home. Our eldest son came this morning. He had taken grand daughter to Durham for the week end and was picking her up at Leeds this evening.
Had made and received several phone calls. as well as emails and shopping.
Have also managed to do some gardening.
Tomorrow I go for the operation on my left eye so may be missing for a few days.

Welcome back Cruiser and good luck with your eye x

So much for going out to dinner - we'd got as far as booking a table, then friend 2 rang to say friend 1 had had a fall on the common walking the dog and needed directions to the local hospital :(
Fingers tightly crossed she's ok but it's her hip that hurts and she's worried she heard a crack :?
They'll let us know when they know...
