Hope this makes sense.
If I use tapatalk, which us more sensible while I'm away as it doesn't seem to lose the post so much mid-way when the signal crashes, then if I go to the 'normal' website, it shows me as being online, i.e. my username appears at the bottom, even though on there I'm not logged in.
What I can't find is his to log out of vv on tapatalk - I'm sure it didn't do this before...

I stopped using it for several reasons. Mainly the habit of only showing me what it wants to show me and finding it pretty difficult to get to where I want to be.

As far as I can see if you go to subscriptions, open the site and then click on the top left menu bar, you can select to log out in the bottom right of the fly out menu.

Next time you want to go to the subscription you have to log in again.

However, the point I have not checked is whether the push notifications (and reading them), logs you in or not...

Yes, that's the only way I can see to do it Suff, which logs you out of tapatalk rather than just Vv.
Then on Thursday, after I'd done that, when I next tried going again, whichever option I chose to log in I got 'system error, please try again'.
I tried a few times during the day but it was the same.

The road to a successful mass market application is littered with the husks of good intentions....

I guess they will get it sorted out in the end. I just won't be using it. My main phone is large enough to use VV on the website (just and normally with glasses) and I have the netbook and an Android Tablet which I can use if I want to when I'm travelling, tethered to the phone.

I'm one of the generation of Internet users who did it all the hard way with custom apps and even custom bbs systems on dial up. Then we were told all we would need was the browser and the website would do it all for us and we could forget about devices. Now we have mobiles and, apparently, we have to do it all with apps again because browsers are "wrong" somehow.....

So I buy the big phones, use the browser and take the pain, which, I find is less than using apps like Tapatalk in the long run.
