Morning Crusier, morning everyone. :D

You haven't posted on cafe for ages Cruiser..and here's me thinking it's because you were having lots of lie ins. :P

It's been pointed out the sun is indeed rising so another nice day is on the horizon. 8-) 8-)

A good yomp for me and back for a swim; I think I'll be able to keep using the pool till the end of October at this rate.

Don't need to see the parentals today as Conor is going over to visit them for a few hours and they're all going for lunch. :D :D

GBBO final tonight and the last Dr Foster...I shall be lazing on the sofa with a bar of chocolate watching the TV. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, but although it's obviously rained overnight it doesn't appear to be coming down now. Hopefully it will brighten up.

We had a good visit with mother on Monday, she was in good spirits and enjoyed her lunch out. The drive home wasn't so much fun, it rained all the way on the M4, but thankfully stayed clear for all but about 10mins on the M25. We got home around tea time and were absolutely cream crackered. E's still fast asleep in bed

Off out to coffee this morning, I missed last Wednesday (sorting problems with the plumber!!) so should have a lot to catch up with. I forgot to mention some of the ladies arranged a Macmillan coffee morning, about a 100 people turned up and with the sales of cakes/coffee and the raffle we raised over £700. Oh and I won a raffle prize, a set of Sanctuary products.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all

a rather damp and dark start to the day again, but at least it was still warm. They're expecting the temperatures to dip quite a bit as of tonight. I need to keep an eye on my baby hedgehogs and try catch them, weight them and if need be get them to a rescue for overwintering. There are two that I think definately are too small

Got to work an hour late - passenger incidence further up my line which meant delays and diversions, but at least we made it. There will be people still stuck on trains as I type - 3 hours later :(

Have a lovely trip Cruiser
Jen - enjoy the coffee monring
Ally, enjoy your day - lucky you that the pool water will be warm enough through to end of this month
Aggers, Kaz and Saundra - enjoy your days

Looking forward to GBBO tonight but really struggled with the first series of Dr Foster and just couldn't get into it. I've got them all recorded so who knows, maybe one day ;-)

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, beautiful sunny day here although cooler. We were up and out early this morning, Miss Osc had to be somewhere before 8am and SIL needed to leave the house by 8.15 so I brought Michael to school while Mr Osc looked aftet Kellie, then my sister arrived at 9.30 for her normal childminding day. Of course, Murphy's Law, I had the clock set for 7am, but woke at 5.45am and couldn't get back to sleep  Hairdressers this afternoon, and looking forward to GBBO final and last episode of Dr Foster tonight.

I just sent off an email enquiring about an apartment in Nice for next year's summer holiday :D :D We really like the look of it but when I enquired about a month ago, the agency said they wouldn't know dates and prices for sure until this month, so hopefully we hear back soon and it is affordable. According to their calendar, the dates are available which is a good start :Hi: Have a good day everyone :)

Oh I hope you get the dates you want Osc 8-) :D

Well I got the ironing done ( :Hi: ) and it will all go upstairs for packing soon - I am packing in H's room so as not to upset Fraggle, who gets very upset when he sees suitcases :( I nipped into town after that, I was just about to iron Mick's hooded sweatshirt (I am taking us one warm pullover type top each, just in case) when I noticed it had a big grease mark down the front that obviously hadn't come out in the wash! It's the only one he owns that doesn't weigh a ton, so I got him a new lightweight one, only Primark so he can chuck whatever he likes down this one :P
