very high tide this morning and big ebb tides and the harbour and way beyond are drained its to do
with the new moon.

It's not because it is a new moon, Sandra, it's because the moon happens to be closer to the Earth
than usual, causing a higher gravitational pull on our oceans, resulting in higher tides.

Well things did get a bit fraught with the plumber, he wasn't too happy but in fairness he came over at 3.30 and worked through till after 7 finishing it off. I think the problem was he was due at another job so rushed things Monday and again Tuesday evening, it showed!! Among lots of little snagging details we had exposed pipework which was unsightly, we have floorboards so completely unnecessary. I think he was trying to save time, E says he was just being lazy, whatever it really didn't look good and considering how much this job has cost us totally unacceptable. The fact it took him almost 4 hours to work through the list says it all really. Anyway we now have an almost finished bathroom, just the floor to sort out now and we've got a chap coming tomorrow afternoon to measure up. We thought we'd decided but as the worktop is a different colour than we were originally going for it's back to square one with that.

Physio later this afternoon, not sure what we're doing the rest of the day.

Only just, and thanks for asking ladies

She was scheduled to be second on the list, but in the end didn't go down until 3pm (no idea why yet, I'll have a longer convo with P tomorrow and ask) and the surgery took over 4 hours! My BIL P rang about ten minutes ago, she is back, a bit groggy and swollen but otherwise perfectly ok She's in a side room so will hopefully get a good night's sleep, and if all goes well will be home on Saturday or Sunday

Thanks for the vibes and good wishes everyone, she's my baby sister and I've been worried
