With great reluctance

Postby tonicha » 25 Sep 2015, 08:41

We've dropped our asking price by 10,000

We spent a long time with Carla yesterday, talking through things and we've seen the comments made by people who have either viewed, or decided not to view.

The most common reason for not offering on our house has been the price.

Next is the amount of stairs   :? :?

And then the road.

But we have agreed with her that a deal can be done, on the qt, and as I dragged in a couple yesterday, she is meeting them here again later.

She will be doing all the legal work, so no need for a solicitor and if we buy our next house through the same company either those agents or Carla will deal with all the legal aspects on that too.

So whilst we're both disappointed, we really do want to sell and move and start a new adventure.

Oh dear Ton that is a shame. :(

Not alot you can do about the stairs and the road. :D

I've got a good feeling this'll do the trick and your house will be sold soon!

Fingers crossed it does. xxx

And I think that's the bit you need to focus on - and whilst 10k is a lot, in the long run your happiness is 1000x more important

Best of luck xxx

It is a shame, but if that is what it takes to enable you to move forward with your dream, and an exciting new adventure, then it has to be (((((((x)))))))

The 10 does sound a lot, but it's only money, after all

And it's about 7,000 in sterling ;)

It is a shame Ton and I can more than understand your reluctance, but when all's said and done it's a means to an end - a happy one :)
