Today is my mum's 78th birthday! Happy birthday mum. xxx

I'm picking her and dad up and bringing them over here for the day.

There's lots of cards and presents waiting for her (I'm so pleased Jacob and Craig remembered too considering Leilani's not there to remind them! )

They've also made a whatsapp song for their gran which she'll absolutely love!

She doesn't know it either but she'd mentioned the other day that she would miss Anne Reid on WDYTYA? with not having an English channel at their apartment but I've recorded it for her on my laptop so she can sit and watch it.

As said, gardening day for me today and may pop round to Karl and Nadine's later this afternoon. It's Amelia's 9th birthday party and she's having movie night at the house. They've hired a candy floss machine and will be making pop corn and having fizzy drinks. I'm going for the candy floss

Thanks Kaz. Her birthday was actually on the 11th but we were in Turkey then so the party was postponed until today. One of the mom's at the school makes birthday cakes and this is Amelia's (as you can gather she absolutely love dinosaurs ) How fab is it?

Lots of sport today, it's the final of the cricket one day, Grand prix qualifying, Davis Cup (the Murrays playing doubles) and of course rugby as well

Morning all, fairly dull here but nice enough when I put stuff on the line, although chilly enough to need socks Thank you for birthday wishes on the other thread, we are going out for lunch locally and then Miss Osc and the children, and my sister, will call in during the afternoon - I rather suspect cake will be involved It's great looking back over the last year when we had so much stress and worry, and here we are now so happily settled. Today is the 8th anniversary of my mother's death (she wanted to make sure I wouldn't forget the date ) and also it is 48 years ago today since Mr Osc and I met.

Happy Birthday to your mum, Ally, I'm sure she will enjoy the day you have planned for her. Hope the weather is good for the Aggers, never been to Chester, I believe it is lovely. Have a good day everyone
