Dinner tonight

Postby tonicha » 16 Sep 2015, 15:14

Knowing today was going to be wet and cold, I'd planned a pork stew

So pork stew it is, with all sorts of stuff chucked in and some really scrummy fresh bread. That'll keep us going for about 3 dinners

Yesterday Morrisons was selling beautiful cuts of silverside for £7kg - I paid £6.61 for my piece. I quartered it when I got home. Three pieces went in the freezer and the other was cubed for a good beef curry - three portions.

So tonight I am having beef curry with fluffy basmati rice. :Hi:

Whatever The Whittle restaurant in Brockworth can offer - we're taking D out for her dinner, as it's her birthday :D

Have a lovely dinner Kaz :)

We had to stop off for some shopping and W/rose kindly had some bargain beefburgers - Aberdeen Angus ones, 4 quarterpounders for £1.29 :D
So burgers it is - oh and they had baps for 19p a pack as well :D - plus a few chips, salady bits and coleslaw :)

Oh they sound nice Di - I love 'proper' burgers 8-) :)

Well we had a lovely meal - I was a bit naughty and had a gorgeous lasagne, with salad and garlic bread (but I did give away half of the bread) and it was delish!!! 8-) :D :D :D
