Morning all :)

Ally, I hope you have a great couple of days with mum and dad staying :D :D :D :D xx

Have a good day Ton :)

It's murky here and a lot of rain forecast! I'm off to WW later so hope it doesn't pour before then  Hannah arrived yesterday evening, she had to catch a very early train but did tiptoe about bless her so as not to wake the house ;) Hope she found the bus stop and then the train station ok - B walked her to the stop last night in a dummy run so she should be ok. Then she has a bus ride at the other end as well. Still, it's only for a couple of weeks, her new house share is only ten minutes walk from her new job ;)

I hope everyone is well this this morning, hope you aren't suffering from yesterday Debih!

Have a great day :) xx

Good morning Monday

Postby debih » 14 Sep 2015, 08:11

I've got a day off today (wasn't sure if I'd be travelling back from Fruitys yesterday or today) and its piddling it down. I'm about to go out for a walk along the canal with Millie to ease my aching thighs. I'm quite pleased that I only have a slight ache on the front of my thighs and that's it.

Adoption papers to read later then call in and see mum. It's her birthday tomorrow and she's very down (her first birthday without dad). I'm finishing work early tomorrow to take her for lunch at the Thai).

Soak in the bath tonight. And then I might just take a quick peek at the half marathon training guide (but don't tell The Weird One)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, but it was raining not long ago so not sure what's in store for today.

Safe flight for your mum and dad Ally. Hugs for your mum debih x

Good luck at WW Kaz.

We decided to go with the second architect we saw and he's due at 10 to measure up for the drawings. Hopefully the rain will stay away long enough for him to get it done, think he said it would take about an hour. We're not really needed as we've already discussed what we want so will be able to let him get on with it.

After he's gone we need to pop into town for some fresh veggies to go with the left over chicken we'll be having for dinner this evening. Hope the sunshine lasts as it would be nice to have a stroll around the harbour.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good on you Debih - you can do the Moon Walk then :D :D :D

Change of plan - I popped into the butchers in the village and bought a load of meats, so I'll be making a pork stew, a shepherds pie and a chilli    The pork loin will be sliced and that can go in the freezer :D :D

Morning all

well back to work for me and down to earth with a thump - the holiday already feels like a long and distant memory. Board meeting day today which is good as it's usually rather frantic for the first 1/2 hour to get final docs printed but then I have 4 hours peace and quiet :D

Ally, have a fab time with your parents
Debih, hugs for your mom from me as well - the "firsts" are really horrid. Glad you're able to finish early though and take her for lunch

Have a lovely day everyone and continued vibes for those that need them

Morning :)
Woke up to pouring rain but it did stop so Minnie and I dodged out quick :D Due to rain on and off all day I think.

Well done again Debih, especially if all you have are aching thighs I'm even more impressed!
Your poor mum, glad you're able to take her out xx

Kaz I'll no doubt be out in the rain too, am cooking some sort of Chinese chicken for eldest and of all things we've emptied the soy sauce
I might do sweet and sour as he loves it, so will need a tin of pineapple too ;) I've bought prawn crackers, spring rolls and pud so not much work involved :)

Bb's heading for a bath in a minute so I'll be on hair-washing duty.
Other than that all sorts of odds and ends to get done today
