Not sure what I'm doing yet, Harry comes tonight, not seen him for a few weeks so I'm looking forward to that Then on Sunday, after he goes back, my niece is coming to stay for a couple of weeks, until she can move into her new rental in Bristol So we will have a full house for a few weeks, which suits me fine

Morning all. Lovely here.

Up and out early this morning for a run along the canal with the dog.

Just about to go out to the reclamation yard with Mick to look for doors for the dining room and bathroom and a cupboard to stand the tv on (which will be impossible to get as we saw exactly what we wanted in Cornwall and should have bought it then!).

Itll be busy round here later as the Tour of Britain comes through this afternoon. L is in Nottingham at the finishing line. She is taking part in an interschools cycle thing and then gets to see the finish of the race and meet some of the cyclists. She was very excited about it this morning.

Quiet night in tonight as I'm driving down to Fruity's tomorrow and I had a rubbish nights sleep last night. And anyway, Gogglebox starts tonight!

Morning all, it was lovely earlier on but has clouded over now. We have lots of rain forecast but at the moment it seems to be on the left half of the country and moving upwards rather than sideways, so we might escape the worst of it. My ironing board awaits after three big loads of washing done in the last two days. It's getting to the stage now where things will be ironed and put away for the winter, maybe a job for next week - hate having to do that

Good morning all. It's a lovely morning here, but we won't be going far yet,
as we are having a meeting here to meet a candidate for the vacant position
of Lodge Manager. Then I'm off to the hospital to have my new hearing aids
adjusted, as one is rather a painful fit.
