Exactly, Rosie, the plot development was rushed, well it was for me, but with only five episodes I suppose something had to give.

I am also looking out to see how it progresses.

I love her, and I agree Debih that she has grown similarly to Sarah L and Sheridan S

I read last week that over the course of time you will have equal sympathy for both parties.....so the squeaky clean 'perfection' of their marriage and her career may just be a foil for what lies beneath....

It seems the elderly GP didn't like her much for a start....

Her name Suranne really annoys me. Apparently her real name is Sarah Ann, so Suranne is just laziness. Its not even a proper name FFS :evil:

Perhaps when Sarah Ann was tentatively stepping into the world of showbiz she thought the name Suranne was more glamorous. I don't think she was being lazy at all.

It is a proper name; it's a variant of the name Suzanne from the Hebrew name shoshanna meaning lily.

Any name relating to lily in my book is a lovely name.

Also, maybe there was another Sarah Ann Jones already on the Equity list? I believe that's why David Bowie had to change from David Jones (his real name) as the fella from the Monkees got in with that one first 8-)

I understand all about equity and I doubt anyone uses their real name

What I meant by lazy is try saying Sarah Ann with a Lancashire accent, maybe she thought it was a nice idea I doubt it involved any thought of Hebrew or lilies :lol:
