Morning all, dull and cool here. Had a lovely weekend away, but a busy day today. We are minding Kellie this morning as the childminder is on hols, then when Kellie goes around 2.30, I have to do a supermarket shop and finish the unpacking. Went to bed quite early last night and think I will be doing the same tonight! Lots of vibes for Di and Bb, and congratulations to Saundra on the new arrival! Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

((((((Di & Bb)))))) thinking of you today xxx

We have bright sunshine here again today, still a bit of a nip in the air first thing in the morning, but yesterday it warmed up enough for a nice stroll around the harbour. Later in the afternoon we walked across the road to the park, about 5/6mins away, to look at the American Agave which only flowers once every 100 years. Apparently people have travelled from overseas to see it as it's so rare. Walking through the park leads to the seafront so another nice stroll. In theory we could follow the promenade down to the harbour, but I'm not sure if that would be a bit too far for E. Lots of our neighbours do it and then bus back, we'll see.

Zachery got on really well at his new senior school, but Z said he's a little nervous about today. Yesterday was all about the 1st year intake, the other years start today. She's confident by the end of the week he will feel much more settled.

No real plans for today, expecting another builder to come and talk through our proposed extension ideas, but of course he won't be able to give a firm quote until we have the drawings.

Hope you all have a good day :D

We're home :)
Thank you for all the hugs and vibes.
The prof himself did the operation and has put in another airball rather than oil. The retina is now very inflamed and delicate, so he doesn't want any more operating on it for 6 months.
Nicely, he said he'd see Bb next week for the follow-up, since we're going away the week after.

Bb's ok, said this operation was easier than the last two, but his poor eye has been through a lot, he's gone to bed for a while.
And I'm going to sit and do nothing for a while :)
