The sun is out here - maybe we will get that Indian Summer I keep hearing about!

Back to Weightwatchers today - I missed last week's meeting as I wasn't feeling 100% and it was pouring down Hoping I won't have put on any weight! B isn't working today, which is unusual for a Monday, but she does have lots of hours this week, so that's ok. She would have come to town with me, but is waiting in for a parcel that she missed when we were all out the other day - funny thing is she can't remember ordering anything

Sunshine and blue sky here

We're off out for our stroll, then a few bits and bobs that need doing - ironing, in my case Neither of us put on as much weight as we thought we'd do but it's back to the no alcohol, small meals and exercise few weeks

Good morning.

Rain was forecast for 8am and, in typical Spanish manner, it was late arriving at 9.05.

It's very warm and the rain is vry much needed-we've had none since the first week in April.

Don & I have been sitting on the terrace and smelling the plants and greenery getting a good drink.

I had a touch of food poisoning yesterday and felt really rough. I feel so much better today but will be staying at home today just to be on the safe side.

Lots to watch on TV and lots to read.

First time I've sat down since about 8.30 this morning, trying to get things done...bed stripped and all outside but second wash just finished - am going to try and enjoy this coffee first
Somehow don't think the garden's going to get much more done, hopefully later in the week I can do some.

Afternoon all. Apologies for being awol - life seems to have been really manic over the last few weeks!

Had a fab holiday in Cornwall (gosh, is it that long since I was on here!) and a nice meet with some people from DD (Dyno, Fruity and Rosie for those that know them). Back to work for a couple of days, emergency adoption panel and then off again for another week which was pretty much taken up with school shopping!

Almost back to normal now. Long day at work for me today as our AGM is coming up (long day for me is 8.30am to 2.30pm ), L goes back to school tomorrow and S on Wednesday (L goes a day early as she goes into Yr 9 which means moving from one site to another so they go back a day before Yr 10 and 11 to get used to the site for the day). Am looking forward to getting the house back to my self in an afternoon.

Off for a run later just a short one of about two miles as my guru (aka Fruity) told me no more long runs now in preparation for Sunday. I am not so worried about Sunday now as at long last I cracked the six mile barrier. Now I'm just worrying about it being too hot and my allergy being bad because of her cats!!!!

It's a lovely day here. Been a decent walk this morning, but in need of a good rest now.
It seems it will take some time before I get back into my usual walking regime - not walking
for a week has certainly had it's effect, but I'm determined not to give it up.
