Morning all :D

Not sure what happened this morning, we got woken up by Jehovah's Witness's ringing the doorbell and then realised it was almost 11

Had a lovely evening with the coffee morning crew, so nice that both Jill and I forgot the time and didn't leave until just after 11pm. Hmmm could explain the lie in.........but what's E's excuse :?

Hope everything goes smoothly Saundra, it's all very exciting.

No plans for today, just the usual washing and house stuff. It's not very bright outside so probably just as well to stay in and get everything sorted. Looking forward to SCD this evening :D :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)

I've seen them playing padel, it looks more like table tennis but on a court :)
Started off very grey here, Minnie and I got wet from very fine misty rain but did make it round the field again :)

Bb has been with me to walk up into the village :D He wasn't confident enough to go on his own but did ok, had to hold my hand a few times. The little Tesco was hardest to negotiate, lots of crates out/shelf refilling etc.
By the time we were walking back the clouds were clearing and the sun came out, it's lovely now and warmer than it's been for a good few days :)

Another lovely thing happened.
My hairdresser is back from her holiday, and my appointment was for Tuesday afternoon, which would have been a bit much but I knew she'd be booked up for the rest of the week.
I called in on the off-chance she could fit me in later in the week, told her Bb was having a third operation that morning. She turned her book to Wednesday, where it had a big line drawn after her last appt and immediately said, how about 5 o'clock Wednesday? I said, but you'll be late, and she said 'I work for myself, I work when I want, and I want to work at 5 o'clock on Wednesday, so no arguing I'll see you then' :)
