Morning all :)

Ally I just noticed on your ticker, 10 days until the parentals arrive!!! :D :D :D

Well it's bright enough here at the moment, but chilly though, It was freezing cold last night, and some parts are even threatened with a bit of frost overnight at the weekend :? I have a ton of stuff from the greenhouse that we picked up yesterday from D's, tomatoes, an aubergine and a few peppers, so I think I might make some pasta sauce, for the freezer :) Not sure what else I'm doing, but upstairs needs a good hoovering and there is ironing waiting so I'm sure I'll manage to 'entertain' myself   Spoke to H last night, it was his first day back at school, Year 11 so it's a big one for him, and his first day went well 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxxxx

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast at the moment.

Expecting an architect shortly to look at our extension idea and tell us how feasible it will be. We've been given a ball park figure by two builders, but of course without drawings it's just an estimate. Planning to get another couple of builders out to look, but will probably wait until the drawings are done. Aiming for 4 quotes. On the bathroom front we had a final measure up yesterday evening so just waiting for a revised quote, E's really struggling so need to get it done as soon as possible.

Popping into town sometime this morning, hoping the weather brightens up so we can have a stroll round the harbour. This evening I'm out with my neighbour and the coffee morning group, there are some birthdays this month so they've added an extra event this month. Should be fun.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, it is dull and chilly here :( We are getting ready to head off to Donegal, it will take a good three hours. Packing just about finished, Mr Osc is watering the plants, need to tidy around before we go as we hate coming home to an untidy house. We have asked if we can stay an extra night but the hotel is full apparently, but maybe they might get a cancellation. If not, we will be home late Sunday night, but if the hotel has decent wifi I will pop in and say hello. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :)
A bit nothingy here, a bit dull but the odd bright spot, dry and not too bad, quite chilly first thing though.

Have a lovely time Osc, shame about the extra night, it is a long way x
Exciting times Jen, lots buzzing in your head no doubt.

Yesterday we managed a little bit of gardening, mostly trimmed a lot off one buddleia - the bigger of the two, it's coming out but I'm doing it in stages as the flowers die off ;) Then took bags to the tip, so lucky it's just up the road.
Today Bb has enjoyed the luxury of a shower for the first time in over two weeks :D A bath's lovely for a treat but not when it's all you can have, but they told him on Weds he could have one now - until Tuesday of course ;)
More bits and pieces of this and that for today.
Hope you all have a good day

Afternoon everyone

Hot 8-)

Left Ourique early and been home a while, but been busy putting stuff away and working out figures and money.

Won't be doing a lot today, that chief of police in Ourique has a lot to answer for      might have to have a beer or two later, well, we will have a beer or two later. The diet starts again tomorrow - and we were doing so well too

Best to get several quotes Jen, but don't go with the cheapest, not always the best job. Go with the builder you're happy with.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Yay got the extra night! While we on the road we had several phone calls from the lovely Sebastian who has organised this weekend (Polish with delightfully fractured English). He managed to get the hotel to give us the 3-night price from his original deal, which includes dinner each evening and is excellent value. It's bloody freezing here, like November  but with plenty of :Hi: :Hi: we should be kept warm ;)
