Sad news on Mia

Postby miasmum » 28 Aug 2015, 23:17

She went to the vets today. She was going to have her three monthly bloods and urine for her kidneys, but on examining her the vet found a tender area in her upper abdomen. On closer examination, we could both see how painful it was, she found a lump. Her feeling is Mia has a liver mass. Only a biopsy would tell us definitely but all the signs point to malignancy. So we didn't do bloods and urine. She weight 3.03kg

She is home and we are to just tempt her with food and love her until her spark goes and then that is the time to say goodbye

I have booked her into a lovely cattery whilst we are away and then she is going to stay with my mother in law, who is converting the front bedroom into a Mia room whilst Luke is in hospital.

I just hope nothing happens to her whilst we are away

Thank you, its very sad, but not stressful like Mowgli was.

With him, I knew he would get better if he would only eat, so the stress of trying to get him to eat was horrendous and he ended up tube fed for a week.

At least with Mia, everything I can get down her is good, but I am not stressing about it, I just want her to be happy.
