Hmmm see I ahve had one for years but I (or someone!) still washes up things like dog bowls, and since you have to wash them seperately, other things get washed up before them....so I still have to buy/use washing up liquid as well as dishwashing capsules. We put ours on every other day as a result.....we run out of mugs and spoons/knoves before anything else - myself, I rinse a mug out after use and use the same one all day, but if J spies a random mug, into the dishie it goes and T does love his tea so there are many...... :?

Kaz does M not do the washing up in the absence of a machine? Since you have cooked........ ;)

He puts in a long day at work Gal, and I'm not working at the moment, so I do most of the house stuff, and I washed up last night. Although to be fair he did wash up his plate and mug from his lunch yesterday when he bought them back downstairs :)

Our dogs bowls have always been washed separately, daily, with very hot water in the utility room sink. B often does that, or else I do :)

Di I've had kitchens where there was no room for a dishwasher, so I really appreciate mine, and the fact that I have the space for it :)

Ah we don't have a utility room, so the dog bowls have to be done in the washing up bowl. ;)

My dishwasher

What's marigolds? What's a washing up bowl? What's a tea towel?? What are these strange objects you talk of? The Weka's family bought their first dishwasher when I was but a little chick of 6. I remember the whole family sitting around it watching the solid white door while it washed the dishes.
