Morning everyone :)

Well it looks dull here, but not wet which is a bonus ;) Will probably go out later for a walk, B mentioned last night that she was going into town today for a few bits and pieces (she's not working today) so I might go with her :)

I didn't go out yesterday which is unusual! Apart from popping round to see D with Mick that is, D had reported the fault with her phone and Openreach wanted her to pay out, even though Mick had sorted the fault temporarily and was sure the fault was with them rather than D's equipment. She was very upset as they asked her for a ridiculous amount of money to come out and fix it - £150  So we went round so that Mick could speak to them with D present and sorted it! What was even worse was that they'd told her to go out and get a new phone - good job she didn't as it is nothing to do with her equipment!!

Am hoping today will be less stressful ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Not sure what the weather's going to do today, it stayed wet and miserable most of yesterday. It's not actually raining at the moment, but the sky is very dark and grey.

Had a lovely coffee morning yesterday, the place was absolutely packed, think there must have been upwards of 40 ladies this time. Obviously not possible to talk to everyone, but you always meet someone new and I'm getting to know a few of the regulars. I think the fact people pop in/out as it suits them stops it from getting cliquey which I really like :D

Hoping to have two builders today, one this morning and the other later this afternoon. It would never do to have them clash  So far I've only had one quote for an extension so it will be interesting to see how these two differ pricewise.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
Very dull here but Not Raining!! :D

That's awful about D's phone Kaz, what would she have done without Mick?!
Jen those coffee mornings sound lovely :)

Trying to get stuff done here and even succeeding with some of it.
Yesterday I ironed 5 items and did clean our bedroom :)
Today we've had to get some of Bb's work sorted out, I have to take a parcel to the PO; thankfully there's one in the village, much easier than the town as you can't park very near that one and it's quite a large package.

A&K etc coming tomorrow, I've emailed asking roughly what time they're likely to get here and mentioned lunch but not pushed it, I'm not daft ;)
Usually I'd love to have a nice lunch ready for them but they are two of my favourite people and I'm 99% sure they will either stop to eat or bring their own with them.

Afternoon all, lovely bright day today although there is a cool enough breeze in places. Childminding day here. Mr Osc and Michael went to play pitch and putt and after I had dropped them there, I took Kellie for a walk on the pier than came back and gave her her lunch. Then it was time to collect the lads, Kellie went down for her sleep, the rest of us had lunch. When Kellie gets up we will just stay in the house for the rest of the day. Have a good day everyone :)

Gorgeous day here again, if a tad windy! :D I was up and attem early this morning.....knew I had the house empty and would be an ideal time to sew, but I had to go into town for the wadding and backing for the baby quilt.....so showered, breakfasted, a wash on and hung out, and out by 9.20. I called into the next village first as I needed to go to the library, then into town. I stopped and had a latte, after whizzing round buying stuff for Sunday (D is having a little garden party/birthday tea for Lily then) then up to the supermarket and then I was home by 1pm.

I got changed and cracked on with my pins and sewing....all done (bar the shouting) by 2.15 :D Since then I've hoovered throughout and hung a couple of pictures up - the washing that I'd put out was dry so that's now put away and I can relax on here for a bit :D

Kaz your day doesn't sound any less stressy than yesterday!! (just read your post about being in hossie :( ) get well soon xxx

Di, baby steps all the way - I'm sure A&K will be more than happy to help even if they don't bring their own food xx

Enjoy your cruise, Cruiser ;)

Jen hope the quotes are good ones - it's exciting isn't it? :D

Have a good day all xxx

Thanks hunny - that quilt is so pretty, I'm sure that D will love it :)

Di, that's exactly what D and I were saying, anyone else would have gone out and bought the new phone and paid the engineer!! Shame on Open Reach :( :(

Jen, your new life down at the seaside sounds lovely, I am so happy for you :) :)
