Did you do what you said you were going to do on the morning thread? How did you do with your intentions for the day? This was my day.

I am not going to risk hanging out the washing, will just put it on the drying rail

I did put the clothes on the drying rail, just as well because it very quickly became a very miserable wet day.

make up the spare bed as my brother is staying Saturday night

Still doing some knitting but not any reading.

I'll get out for a walk too before the rain arrives.

Didn't manage that, by the time I had done a few bits and pieces around the house, the rain had started. So instead, I did all the household filing.

We've watched a couple of films, my sister called in bringing some books and had a cuppa, had our dinner and now we are watching stuff we had recorded.

So how was your day?

Yes, I was going to meet my friend, which I did We had a cuppa, then shared a teacake, mooched round the shops, got a few bits. I bought Mick a lovely shirt, tee shirt and cropped jeans in the Debenhams sale, all half price Then I decided to walk up to see D, I almost always do that at least once during the week. Just as well as discovered that her phone isn't working, so Mick and I popped up there briefly again this evening, and Mick fixed it. Being an ex-phone engineer comes in handy sometimes

I also got all my washing tumbled

But yes, I did

Cleaned both bathrooms, washed the sheets from the other bed, took them up, brought them down dry sorted out a couple of other bits and bobs, watched the athletics, cooked dinner, did most of the ashing up while it was cooking ( I burnt my thumb quite badly last week, so grumpy has had to do the washing up for a few days), spoke to Julia (Cuthbert doing well - not ready to make his appearance yet)

Plus all the laundry washed, dried and put away.

Made a lasagna and a cheesecake.

I didn't mention on GM that I'd be eating a huge bar of almond crunch chocolate...but I am.
