The NHS is fine for many things but I do confess to going private for serious matters like my back and knee. xx

You are right Pederito, and I truly appreciate everyone's words of comfort, there were times when As a family we went private in needed on our return home, but circumstances change. I must say that our Renton unit in Hereford is absolutely marvellous and my treatment there was first class. My problem has been more psychological following my horrendous experience with the idiot lout who carried out my cataract removal. "Top consultant at that". Time he retired!!!
