Kaz I often feel like that when I pop in at the end of the day!! Glad you have had a good time with H and her new bloke ;)

It's gorgeous here! Bit windy although it's a warm wind, and after the thunderstorms from last night, the sunshine is most welcome 8-) I have been in the house alone much of the day (Jen is home from work now, T is helping at the farm all week and not expected back till at least 4pm each day) so I have finally made a proper start with Lily's cot quilt :D Donna wanted it made from all her old first size babygros and dresses....being so small it wasn't the easiest of tasks to cut out reasonably sized squares...but I did and they have been sitting in the sideboard since about January! Finally got round to putting it together - hopefully in time for Lily's birthday next week :D It's pretty time consuming, and I haven't done a quilt before so youtube has come in very handy!! Also I needed an empty house for a good few hours....never get that usually so this was the weekend! And I nearly ended up having Lewis overnight which would have stopped me this morning....luckily plans got changed 8-) (phew)

Anyway here it is up to now, still needs the wadding (not got that yet) and the backing putting on

Oh how pretty!!! That's gorgeous, they will love it!!!! :D :D :D

Well H and the bf have gone, Mick dropped them at the station :) We had a lovely time while they were here, very relaxing. I've eaten too much, so expect wailing and gnashing of teeth after my WW meeting tomorrow :P    It looks like Hannah might be lodging with us for a while, she has this fab new job with the Natural History Unit in Bristol (she's going to be finishing off the post production work on the new BBC series about New Zealand) but it starts Sept 14th and none of the flats she saw yesterday are any good - Correction, one was ok but she had a phone call last night to say it had gone already, and the other two were no good. So I told her she is very welcome here until she finds somewhere, it's only an hour commute and B did it for long enough with no problems :)

Having a rest now - feet up, telly on, cuppa made, pooter on, sorted :D :D

I know my sister would do the same for one of mine if needs be, and it wouldn't be for long. I expect she'll find somewhere - Bristol is teeming with flats and house shares, being a uni town :)

Gal that's so lovely, and what a wonderful thing to have to keep :)

Kaz also much easier for H to look once she's more local x

Exactly Di, it means she can go and look at flats at short notice, and takes the pressure off so that she doesn't have to rush into somewhere not really suitable 8-)

None of us will mind having her here for a few weeks - during the week at least she can have Harry's room, and if H comes at weekends whilst she is here then Hannah can go onto the sofa bed in Mick's study :) She is good company, gets on really well with Becks, so it will be fine :)
