Good morning all, it's sunny here, the wind has died down overnight and it's quite mild.

I've been to the gym, walked Billy and I'm now just waiting for the washing machine to do it's thing.

So glad it's February - January is my least favourite month.

Oh Loz, I hope it calms down soon (((Loz)))

Thinking of Minnie and Di this morning...

Morning :)
After yet another night of heavy rain it's finally cleared and not sure that any more is due for a couple of days at least (but that may be wrong).
Well, our Minnie is still here, which is something. The steroids won't yet have begun to make her want to eat so it's a bit of a struggle to get food inside her, but she has eaten a little.

Happy birthday to H, a lovely weekend to look forward to Kaz :)
Loz do hope it eases off, it must be horrible.
Hugs for everyone who needs them
Di

Good morning all, it's bright here today, but I've just put out a line of washing and it's very cold and windy. Mr. Osc has gone to play golf, he can have my share of it  I'm not feeling the best, feeling rather heavy headed and a bit sick. Mind you, some of that could be down to a rather delish large slice of rocky road biscuit cake yesterday - my brother was in Dublin for the day and arrived to Michael's house with our lunch. I don't think he has ever taken on board my non-dairy or (mostly) non-chocolate way of eating, but he is so thoughtful, never arrives empty handed, that I don't have the heart to be constantly saying that I don't eat them. So I said I would share one of the rocky roads with Mr. Osc......but it was so yummy that I ate it all   knowing I may have consequences today  Can't complain too much about self inflicted woes then!!

Not had my shower yet, but will do soon and head out for a supermarket shop, don't need too much as we are going away overnight tomorrow and won't need weekend food. There's a two day competition in Carlow tomorrow and Sunday and we were originally going to just travel down and back for one of the days, but friends asked us to go and stay in the hotel, so we said we would and they booked it. Last week, got a phone call from another dancing friend whose sister manages the hotel to say that both couples are being upgraded to suites :D :D so I think I will manage to enjoy that ;). Just have to organise our stuff this afternoon. Really looking forward to the night away, cold grey dreary January always takes its toll on me, so it will be nice to have a little change.

Happy Birthday to H and Saundra's grandson, and wishing Jen a safe journey and wonderful holiday. Hugs for all who need them, Loz I've only ever had very mild tinnitus and know how distressing it can be ((((((Loz)))))). Hope Minnie is going to be ok. Have a good day everyone :)

Aaah...I only asked as Michael Portillo does a GB railway journeys and on Monday's programme he's travelling from Killarney to Cobh.

7.30 BBC2 just in case you're interested. :) xx

Oh we always watch him, so will look forward to that, didn't see last night's as we didn't get home from minding Michael until a bit later. The scenery should be fab, and he is always so interesting and very accurate about the places he visits, as we found on the earlier one he did around Dublin.
