Ok. So at work today we were doing ellipsis and substitution which certainly kept my mind busy!!

But now I'm home and am clock watching to Jacob's imminent departure.

My brave face smile is slipping fast!

He doesn't know. He'll spend time in Nottingham with Craig then visit numerous places seeing friends and family up and down the country.

Then he's visiting France, Germany, Belgium and Italy....the world's his lobster.

He's actually sitting next to me right now with a French phrase book!

And he's just persuaded Don to make him stir fry for a late lunch.

The viewers were not sure if they want an apartment or a house, but the apartments they like are very expensive here (think about 500,000 ) and so are looking for a house, but it's too big...........................

When we bought this house 11 years ago I felt at first it was too big for us but we soon filled it.

When we talk about downsizing once the boys move away for good I can't imagine having a smaller house now.

I know. We fill this house quite well, just the two of us How our neighbour has managed to make even more room in her house is very clever.

One of the houses we've been looking at is small. The other two are a little smaller than this, but not much - and better still, all on one level
