They were all pleased as to how it looked, but the reasons for the professor as well were apparently that:
a) they were sure Bb must have had some sort of major trauma as the eyeball was very 'wobbly' in their words (he hasn't).
and b) they were confused as the surgeon had filled the back of the eye with the 'heavy oil' but it's now only about half-full at most, and they've no idea why

Lissie sorry I don't know why you said it was better than we thought, I'd only said we had no way of telling how it was

I think they're fantastic, it's not many years ago that a detached retina meant certain blindness in that eye.
As he's already had a badly torn retina in the other eye, it doesn't bear thinking about.
Obviously he's always known he's very badly short-sighted, but had no idea it meant all this high risk.

Like the others i said i was pleased that the Retina had re-attached as you
seemed so worried about it.
In future i won`t post as it seems to be taken the wrong way.
