Bb was seen by first a doctor, then the surgeon who operated, then a professor, all putting in more drops, poking, examining, looking...
The good news is that the retina has successfully re-attached

The other news (refusing to say bad) is that it still needs another operation, on Thursday.
They will drain the 'heavy oil' and insert a ball, of either gas or air; the air one sounds preferable by far but obviously they will do what's best.
Even so Allesandro (the surgeon) reckons we can 'more than likely' still go on holiday.
So, up at 5 again on Thursday, arrive by 7.30 then wait.
Probably the 'posturing' - head on one side - afterwards, maybe for 5 days, deep joy.
Then a check-up two weeks later.
I now have one day to get organised
