Morning Ally, bet you are ready for a rest today after your birthday shenanigans ;) :D  Have a nice restful day xxx

Morning all :)

Looks a bit grey outside here. Is it me or is Autumn kicking in early - I came upstairs yesterday evening to close our bedroom windows and the air felt damp and smelt just like autumn! I'm not ready yet to give up on summer

Weightwatchers this morning - normally with a visitor here I would miss my meeting but lately as part of my training I've been helping Chris out with the weighing in, or in the little shop, or signing members into the meeting, so I can't let her down. Becks will bring AR into town to meet me afterwards and the three of us will have lunch and hit the shops. B isn't working until 4 today, and AR's train isn't until 4.45 so we will come back here mid afternoon so she can collect her things. It's been lovely having her, but she needs to get home by tomorrow for a long awaited apt with the consultant about ongoing problems with her ears (AR is profoundly deaf) and she couldn't alter the timing....

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning you three

Same as Saundra; a beautiful sunny morning this end Kaz (funny given you're between us  ), but I totally agree about that autumnal feel; the mornings are decidedly chilly and I'm also not ready to give up on summer; I do hope we have a few warm days still

Saundra, if you cut just the flower heads off, you may get a 2nd lot of flowers before the winter hits. Then next spring cut it right down to the ground.

Usual work day for me today, then off to Tesco to sort out the fiasco with the security tags - oh and a stop off at Halfords on the way there; my genie lamp flashed up this morning on the way to the station so me thinks the oil needs topping up. Did have a quiet giggle to myself thinking back to Franks story re the genie lamp on his way down to his sons wedding a few weeks back :D

Hope you all have a lovely day today

continued vibes for the poorlies

Morning everyone

Quite warm 8-)

Been for my walk, swept the front patio and path, Grumpy just got up, had cramp most of the night and he thinks the dreaded gout is back    Looks like we have new neighbours for a week or so - so many people are renting out their homes here  But at over 1000 euros a week, can't blame them :D The man across the road is getting 2,500 a week  :o :o :o

Washing just about to go out then I'm stumped    Everything is clean, there's only so much i can do, so I might just have to sit and read 8-)

Safe journey to AR x

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Had a really good tidy up in the garden yesterday, we hadn't really done much out there since we moved in so it really needed it.

Going to the coffee morning with my neighbour today rather than Wednesday this week. The boys are coming for a few days on Thursday so want to keep Wednesday free for stocking up/getting ready.

Back to physio later this afternoon, have a nasty feeling it could be a tad painful after the time off

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, had a great weekend in Blackpool, feet still a bit sore this morning  It's a lovely morning here and I have a good load of washing out. Off for a walk shortly then back to do whatever I feel like doing, which might not be a lot ;) Mr Osc is going to play golf. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
Supposed to stay dry but it's pretty dull here.
Hate to say it but it is kind of autumny in the mornings, isn't it? I was looking at the dewy spiders' webs this morning and thinking they used to appear as we went back to school after the summer holidays :?
Still, the weatherman said we're going to have at least a week of summer-ish stuff so let's hope he's right :)

Glad you enjoyed your birthday Ally :)
Glad you've enjoyed Aunty R Kaz, your house is going to be quiet this week :) xx
Jen our garden is now a right mess, I'm trying not to look at the weeds :?
Ton I wish you could teleport, you'd soon have had enough of cleaning :D
Cut out his red meat and cheese for a couple of weeks Ton, see if that helps x
Saundra one of our buddleia's is enormous but does still have a lot of flowers; I was dead-heading it daily but that's another job not done :)
Osc glad you had a good time :)

I've got a small washload out, and have ironed 3 things; other than that am doing as little as possible today ;)
Next door is now away but the other neighbours are back, so I'll pop over and see them a bit later and hope they're around tomorrow. If they are they'll take Minnie over there for the afternoon, even though I'll assure them she'll be fine here on her own :)

Good afternoon all.

We are feeling tired now after yesterday's meeting with our relatives from the USA.
We had a lovely time and our catering efforts were a great success.(thank heaven).

It's a day of rest for us now.

Hope you are all OK.

May be the Northern bird in me but I'm not aware of any autumn-y weather just yet....or maybe I'm refusing to accept it! Gorgeous here again...I'm working however.

Hope you all have a good Monday whatever the weather ;) :D xx
