Just caught up with this yesterday (we were out at the quiz night when it was first shown on telly)

I think Paul (not Mr H) is rather yummy, and hope he stays....I thought they made the most fabulous BFGs, but yes poor Dorret!! :( I hadn't any clue who'd be first to go, I had a couple in my head but Stuart wasn't one of them

Great start to the new series :D

Watched it on iplayer - poor Dorrit   I'll bet she's replayed that in her head a hundred times since then :?

I've not got a fave yet, will see how it pans out 8-) ;)

A bit of a league is starting to form.

I do not have a fave as nobody stands out ATM, nobody is consistent enough.

However, I can see a few candidates for relegation.

Same here Frank, definitely a few that are just hanging on there. I suspect that we may have a male winner this year ;-)

Loved Mary's face when she said, what, you're just stamping out a frog? :D

 Everyone uses cookie cutters though, don't they? A freehand frog is beyond what I might attempt anyway ;) :D

I though that frog remark was a bit petty of Mary. It is not as though the bakers are doing everything by hand. They are using electric mixers, blenders, food processors, digital timers, electric ovens, fridges, freezers... I have even seen Mary using commercial piping bags and nozzles, not ones she made herself. ;) :P :P

Exactly! ;) In fact I think both Mary and Paul are trying to be a bit sterner this year.......

They are! I don't think Paul likes Paul either.....he's been quite cutting in his remarks to him.
