Hoping by the morning he'll be feeling a lot better.
He finally slept, woke up when I went up at about 6.15 and thought it must be tomorrow, took some paracetamol and went straight back to sleep.
Been up a couple of times since, he's asleep.

In the morning he has to take off the shield and dressing and clean the eye - I'm afraid he's on his own with that

He's ok, very tired still - as am I, having spent the best part of the past two days at the hospital and driving there and back.
But the eye I think is looking all right, not very nice obviously but we're getting the drops in and he can see
