Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 13 Aug 2015, 05:39

Good morning. :D

Scorchio. It's August. 8-) 8-) 8-)

A swim after my coffee. :D :D

Getting the guest bedroom ready today as our friends are flying over tomorrow. It's Toni & Pete that have the holiday apartment in Riviera..if they'd flown on Saturday the flights were £150 more expensive each!
So they spend a day and night with us and we take them over on Saturday. :D :D :D

Mega vibes for Bb today and hugs for Di too. xxx

Morning Ally :)

Wow that is a big difference in the flight prices, it's great that you can help your friends out like that 8-) :) Hope they have a great holiday 8-)

Well downpours are forecast here today, but I have plenty to do here. Everything I should have done yesterday really - I had planned heaps of housework but ended up going out instead, for a long walk :) H goes home tomorrow, and AR coming to stay so I have bedding and stuff to sort out, and we will probably do a food shop tonight as well. AR has a very healthy appetite :D

Best wishes for Bb today, I will be thinking of him and hoping all goes well (((((((x)))))))

Have a good day everyone :) xx

It works out brilliantly as we'll have a great time here with them and then during their holiday we always go over for a 2 day jolly and stay with them. :D :D :D

Win win. :D :D :D :D :D

Morning all. Warm and muggy here this morning although the sky is a very odd colour. Waiting for the downpour to come later.

Work for me this morning and then I'm done until 25th August - and even then I'm only in for 2.5 days before I'm off again!

Off to Lidl this afternoon with my mum to do some holiday food shopping, then back to mums to drop her stuff off and collect L (she's been staying at mums this week - her choice - but she comes home tonight ready for heading off tomorrow), then taking mum to ours so she can have some tea with us and see the newly decorated lounge. Then off to collect S from her boyfriends, taking mum with me as we are going via Tesco for any bits that I can't get from Lidl. Drop mum home and then home.

I have sorted all my clothes out for holiday and just need to pack them later. S is all packed and L has to do hers tonight.

Morning you three :)

Thinking of Bb and Di this morning and hope all goes well - vibes continuing their way to their part of the country.

Usual work day for me - overcast and rainy this morning so just as well I'm in an office all day. But the garden is super happy because so far it's been a perfect soft rain that has a chance to soak in; but apparently really heavy showers expected today and tomorrow?

Ally, £150 pp is a lot of money - wowzer. It is amazing just how much flight costs can vary day to day.
Kaz, want to come to mine when you're finished at yours. I also need to do the laundry and some grocery shopping so you could just tag my lot onto yours?
Debih enjoy your last day and then the next few days off work - nice one! Lots of driving around this afternoon for you though, but once it's done you'll hopefully have a fab holiday

Have a lovely day all. Those in the warmer parts of this world stay cool, and those of use here in the UK - stay dry!

Morning everyone

Hot 8-)

Hugest hugs and vibes winging over to Bb and Di xx

Off down to the village later, I've a small ish parcel to send over for Oliver. Little bit and bobs for him, when his new brother arrives in a little over 2 weeks :D

We attacked the garden yesterday afternoon and pulled up all sorts and will be having a major sort out with the pots later or tomorrow., It was looking a bit over-grown and straggly, so I was ruthless ;)

Have a good day everyone whatever you're doing xx

LOL Ria much as I love you, that's a big fat NO!!! :P :D   Oh and to answer what you asked about H's room and the bed situation, luckily I hadn't started moving furniture around so that will get done next week now, it will just need a good tidy, dust round, and change of bedding tomorrow in preparation for AR sleeping in there ;)

Ton, have fun pottering ;)

Debih, you'll be ready for this holiday, that's a busy schedule! xx

Ridiculous disparity in flight prices, the last time I came here from Malaga I paid £180 BA club class single booked in Spain but when I wanted to go back they wanted over 700 single. That coincided with my resolve never to go through a UK airport again because my metal knee sets off the detector and I am not prepared to be assaulted by smelly thugs.

Morning all :D

Thinking of Di and Bb this morning, hope everything goes well x

Bit overcast here, but no rain as yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way long enough for us to get over to M&S and Tesco for a weekly stock up. No other plans, will see how the day pans out.

Hope you all have a good day :D
