Thank you all xx
We've been trying to get organised with Bb's work appointments and boss, plus getting some shopping, sorting the dog out...her usual neighbours are away but next door will be here tomorrow and is going to feed her, take her out etc. Not sure how long we'll be but she won't be awake enough even for breakfast before we leave at 6.30!

Can't be helped, there's nothing the hospital or we could have done to stop it but am certainly not looking forward to it all over again.
I'll let you know of course as soon as I can once we're home.

Oh ferlipping heck Di - an only do the same as everyone and send over the bestest and strongest vibes for a safe and good operation and he's back to normal ( as if  ) ) soonest.

And so glad you will be able to get here for your holiday.

What is it with Portugal and himself?

Sending mega hugs from us both, to you both xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I couldn't edit the post at the time, should have read 'should' be ok for our holiday :?

Not actually sure we 'will' be able to get there but we're crossing everything possible.
What they said was, 80% chance this op will fix it, if not second op, in which case no chance of holiday :?
And 6 weeks might be pushing it for the gas ball tbh, but am hoping they might know a bit more after they've done it tomorrow.

I so wish it was something like a broken leg where it's down to the person wanting to do something, but in this case it's not a choice :?
