Is this soppy...??

I'd arranged to meet Don in town tonight after I'd been to work and had a bite to eat with a friend.

I sent him a text saying meet me at the bus stop...(he knew which one. )

And as the bus was nearing the stop I saw Don sitting on a bench seat waiting for me...and even after all these years found myself smiling and so happy to see him.

And even after all these years he came walking towards me, gave me a big smacker and put his arm round me.

Now..I don't care if this is soppy. I love my hubs...and he loves me.

I think it is really nice to read of couples who still love and respect each other, although we read of warring couples etc I feel that the good marriages are far higher in figures.

Dunno if it's soppy, but we'd do that too, although it's only 10 1/2 years so maybe the novelty hasn't worn off yet

It's literally like your other half isn't it, however much you can enjoy yourself without them, something's not quite right if they're not there
