They certainly can Rodo.

Saw it on the local news and it is no joke. You have to do what you have to do. It might not be of epidemic proportions, but needs to be kept to its minimum. Trouble is that boiling water is expensive, will there be any compensation?

People have been asking about compo but United Utilities are being a bit vague in their answers!

How do you compensate 300,000 households?

I have just been reading that it could go on till the middle of next week.

What they are saying is that boiled water is only needed for food prep, pot washing and drinks and that there is no need to go mad with bottled water.

I am beginning to hear that one or two small areas, mainly of Preston, have received a leaflet telling them to boil their water.

Stable doors and horses perhaps?

Rodo,
We heard about it on the TV and radio.
Fortunately we are just outside th area.
Hope everything soon gets sorted including the car. I scratched our car on one of the gate posts last year going into the car park at the chemists. A van coming out nearly hit me head on which was why I was too near the gate post. Mrs.e is doing the driving at the moment. It is another ten days before I can drive again after my operation.
Rodo, what were you doing when you fell? Hope it hasn't stopped you having a drink or two!!

No Cruiser, I wasn't drunk sadly! Actually I was sleep-walking and only woke up when I had fallen to the bedroom floor.
