I've not really been online the last few days so didnt realise Minnie was ill.

You must be dreadfully worried Di but your quick reaction has probably gone a big way to giving Minnie a good fighting chance.

I'm sincerely hoping her treatment is very successful and she'll soon be feeling lots better.

It's been very sudden Shaz. I'm grateful to the vet, who said if it was her dog she'd want treatment to start now, that's why she called us straight back today.

Funnily enough today Di I was watching dogs and their owners on the beach and it was very obvious the pleasure these pooches give their owners.

It's quite hard to explain Ally, it's not that they're like a child at all, at least not to me, but they are most definitely a member of the family, and a very precious one too.
Minnie was 9 weeks old when we got her, and six weeks later I was diagnosed with cancer. She looked after me at least as much as I looked after her
