Lost items, lost causes - not that much difference, I don't suppose saints mind anyway :D

I do hope it turns up Lissie, it's horrid to lose something special. My mum gave me a gold bangle years ago, her wrists had swelled and she could no longer wear it, but she asked me to keep it for Becky. It disappeared when we moved house to Swindon, and I was so upset about it! Even more so when she died, as that would have been when I passed it on to B :( :(

If you took it off in bed, you might have put it on a bed-side piece of furniture, and it could
have slipped down the back. I suggest you take out and examine any drawers you might have
within reach, and then look behind the unit, which will be easier to move without its drawers .

I have spent the last 2 hours checking everywhere that you all
suggested but nothing :(
Don has upended the dustbin and has gone through a fortnight`s
contents (an awful job--bless him)
I can`t see that i have lost it out anywhere so it must be here
somewhere.
The 2 little terrors are coming tomorrow so we will have a treasure
hunt with a prize for the finder (fingers crossed)
I must give up for now as i have shopping to get in to feed the family
tomorrow

Thanks for your help.

I give up as I cannot think of anywhere else to look.
I have stripped the bed, all the washing is up to date and I have taken.

every drawer out and looked behind.
I am going to check our insurance policy tomorrow and see if I can claim.
I will wait until the boys have had a search first
