I am fed up with Operation Stack.

I am getting fed up with this Operation Stack :?
I have wanted to go to Waitrose in Ashford all week but can`t
as we would get caught up in it on the A20 tailback :(
I wish they would brick the tunnel up as it only causes chaos
You can`t even go the pretty way through the villages as lorries are trying
that way and blocking the roads up.

lissie :)

We were worried it would cause us problems going up to Swindon Lissie, luckily it only affects the M20 from Jct.8 and we come off at 7. Having said that we got stuck on the M25 anyway

I have been wondering how my daughter's family are getting along with it. They like to get out and about usually, but are probably finding it difficult like you. You just wonder how they are going to sort all this mess.

It looks like absolute chaos on the news Lissie, so sorry you are getting caught up in all this :(

I think it needs our government to put some very stern pressure on the French, but I can't see it happening.

I am fed up with Operation Stack.

I bet you are, Lissie.

It must be horrendous for those who live near the M20 and other parts of Kent.

I was just reading that it has cost Kent police £700,000 and a similar amount for Kent County Council. It is costing hauliers £700,000 per day the country as a whole £250m per day. Guess who gets to pick up the bill?

Lissie, I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating this must be for you and all others involved.

I bet you are Lissie, we've been saying all along that the news doesn't even mention the poor people who live in the area :(

We got to Canterbury this afternoon but the A2 was very busy--lorries everywhere.
It got really busy so we started home about 3pm and went a long way round so we
Avoided the A2 as where it joins the M2 it was very chaotic and my confidence is
At a low level at the moment.
