We live in an apartment, one of about 30 in a Retirement Lodge. The Lodge front entrance goes through the Residents' Lounge to a corridor leading to our apartment at the rear of the building. Our front door opens to a small hall with three inner doors - one to our bedroom with two single beds and with one wall serving as our picture gallery, one to the bathroom with all mod cons, and the other into our living room. This is a very large room, about 24 foot long, with three-piece suite, dining table, lots of bookcases, my desk and my keyboard. A glass door and window overlooks the part of the lodge garden that we have adopted. There is another door into a small well-equipped kitchen, also a door into what is described as an airing cupboard, as it contains the hot water boiler. It is, however, exceptionally large and is a useful store room. That's about it.

Live in a semi in a small cul-de-sac.
Built by a local builder in 1959. there are about forty houses and one bungalow.
Small driveway at front with attached garage and garden.
Front door, Brazilian mahogany, open into the hall, with stairs on right . Three door, one leading to front lounge with TV which is always kept tidy. Next door leads into lounge at back of the house and overlooks back garden. Third door, facing front door opens into kitchen. This has been extended behind the garage, with a door leading into the garage and one leading to the back garden. There are fitted units, a dining table and chairs, a two seater couch as well as washing and drying machines.
Going upstairs, there is a bath with a separate shower unit, a separate toilet, two bedrooms with a double bed in each and fitted wardrobes. The small third bedroom now houses my computer printer vacuum cleaner and ironing board.
We have an access ladder to the loft. Part of it is boarded and I have fitted two lights controlled by a switch on the landing.
All floors are carpeted.
