Exactly Kaz, and that's why it makes me so cross, because I can't control it :D
I'm not at all wussy or wimpy but it does stop you from doing some things.

Another one here, the tree walk at Kew Gardens was horrendous. The bridge has holes in the metal so you can see down. I just shuffled along it and then coming down the stairs, young children were having to let go because I couldn't.

Open tread stairs are another problem for me

Sounds though you had a marvellous time, Ally.

Regarding heights, I'm not too concerned about them, but Mrs A is not at all happy, so we don't
venture going up too high.

Please put a photo on VV. I don't use other chat sites.

Hubby has the same problem. The lift on the Eiffel Tower wasn't working and it was my once in a lifetime opportunity to go up, so up the stairs we went, open grill steps. I had to use soothing noises, frequent stops and lots of encouragement to look up. We made it.

But in reverse, he was fine going up the stairs at the leaning tower of piza, but I was all disoriented and dizzy feeling everytime we got from one side to the other and gravity shifted. Because you could see out, it was very odd
Everything happens for a reason
