Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 22 Jul 2015, 05:54

Good morning. :D

Scorchio. 8-) 8-) 8-)

An early swim for me this morning. :D

I'm going into school at 9.30 to see about maybe doing a few private hours at the Academy in August in the mornings - a few students want some extra tuition before their September exams.

Book and pool when I get home. :D :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally, morning everyone

8-) 8-) 8-) although there is a lovely fresh breeze this morning :D

Of to see the mechanic later, about this window, then I really should go down into the village.

Spoke to our agent again yesterday and although she would like us to drop our price, we're not, so she'll just have to work harder. She's already talking bout another leaflet drop in the village.

Flan and salad for dinner - fed up leaking as I'm cooking

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two :D

Not sure what's in store weather wise; I gather it's meant to be a bit of a damp morning but for now it's blue skies with a fair amount of cloud. Definitely not sunshine like you've got.

Ally - the private lessons sound fun; a bit of extra money for you. Something to do for you to break the long holiday (if you're needing a break that is?) and a huge help for the kids
Ton - good luck with the mechanic; hope you get sorted what needs sorting. Re the house - how much does she want to drop by as a matter of interest? Do people usually haggle the price down even more or is the price stipulated the price one pays?

I was expecting a friend for lunch today but we've rescheduled to tomorrow as it's her son's last day at school and then he's invited to a party and it's cutting it all a bit fine timing wise. So we'll have a lovely relaxing tomorrow day instead.

So instead Nadine is collecting me a bit later today; we're having a mooch around town and Amelia is having her hair cut and a blue streak put into her fringe. Just hopes it washes or grows out by the time school starts again  Then back to theirs for lunch and a lazy afternoon.

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all :D

Hope you get the tutoring sorted Ally, Harry has had private tutoring for Maths and English so I know it can really help students :) 8-)

Ton, I'll go and read that other post in a minute! 8-)

Ria it sounds as though you enjoying your time off :D LOL @ the blue streak, the long holiday was always the time B had 'different' things done with her hair - one year she had beaded plaits done, they were really cute but against school rules

(((Saundra))) Take it easy xxxxxx

Well I'd better start getting on with my day! Harry and the ex arrive this evening, then in the morning B, the ex (Martin) and I will be off to Bristol, very early, as the ceremony is at 10.30 we have to be there for 8.30   Really looking forward to it :D Then there are light refreshments afterwards, but I'd imagine we'll be home by mid afternoon at the latest. Then we are all going out for a meal to celebrate :D I'm charging my camera :D :D 8-) We are putting Martin up for a couple of nights, it will probably feel slightly odd but we all get on very well these days, so it should be ok. Wish me luck ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning :)
Yesterday was mostly lovely, although it clouded over a lot in the afternoon. Today was meant to be cloudy but dry, but they've changed it now to showery

Bb was off early so I wanted to get my shower in before him - I hate being second ;) :P
The phone rang at 8 and we both thought it would be his early one cancelling but thankfully not, she'd just forgotten what time he should be there :)

I'm going into town in a bit, it's getting stupidly busy now so I'm aiming to catch the gap between the earlies and those who shop after the school run, and those wot lunch :D Need to take some library books back too, and parking there is tricky later as well.

Kaz good luck, hopefully it will be fine having him there since most of the time is nicely taken up x
It will be nice for H and B to have both of you for a little while :)
Have a good day all

Thanks Di, I'm sure it will be ok. He came to B's 18th birthday lunch we had by the river that time, and H's birthday meal this year, that was all very amiable and we do talk on the phone fairly often about how things are going for both the kids, so I think it will be fine really :)

Hope you manage your bits and pieces in town before it gets too busy! The down side of living somewhere lovely, I remember it very well from when I lived in York  ;)

Yaaaay. :D :D :D

2 of my students specifically asked for me  in helping them with preparing for their September exams.

So I'm going to work Monday & Wednesday mornings 9.30 - 1pm during August.

Those are really nice hours and I really like the two lads I'll be teaching. Win win. :D :D :D

Just hope they blooming pass their exam! :o :o :?
