Hair we go again!

Postby Kaz » 15 Jul 2015, 08:00

:P

I really can't make up my mind! Keep my hair long, as it is at the moment, and pin it up for B's graduation ceremony next week, or just go for the chop - short and layered! At the moment it looks fine when it's first washed, as it sits nice and smoothly and just curves slightly under, but the moment there is any rain or humidity it just frizzes at the ends and looks a mess - so then it needs the straighteners and they are frying it! At least shorter it behaves itself. Having said that it is nice to be able to put it up sometimes, although I don't feel like messing with that every day :?

I think I'm talking myself into a haircut here................. :P

You mentioned your normal hair colour has been discontinued Kaz - what colour and make did you choose as an alternative?

I just do my own as you know - it's a Garnier one for 4 euros, I do the roots then 10 minutes later just mix it all through the rest of my hair and rinse.

Bloomin ideal!

Thanks Ria :)

Ally I was advised that the new one, Age Perfect, would be closest to the one I'm used to. It's by Nice&Easy and covers greys well and my regrowth is coming through white  :?

I am always nervous using a new product (allergy) so it pees me off when they discontinue my faves   By tonight it will have been 36 hours since I skin tested so I'll do it before bedtime - it's close enough to the 48 hours and it would def. have started to itch by now if it was going to

It's shade no.9 Light Blonde.

Edit: It's Age Defy, not Age Perfect. Just used it - my hair is still damp at the moment, but the colour looks nice so far, and the greys are gone :)

It's nice! Good colour (if slightly darker than I would have thought, from the box description), it's shiny and no sign of any rogue greys 8-)

Haircut tomorrow :) 8-)

That's good Kaz, I need a new one soon, will come back and check what it was :)
I've only been using the root touch-up, but all over, as when it's short there's plenty, but it doesn't really add new colour iykwim x
