We've spent this afternoon measuring up and having a general mooch. The elderly couple have left everything lovely and clean, we're not actually moving in until 20th (still paid up here at the rental until 26th) so we won't have to go over with a mop and bucket before hand thank goodness. It's going to be a struggle to fit everything in to begin with, need to arrange more storage and there's lots of updating to be done, but nothing's too urgent so we'll settle in before making any big decisions.

I'm really excited, quite enjoy a project. Poor E is just resigned to lots of upheaval but when I say does it bother him too much, he replies 'after almost 42 years I'm used to it'..........cheeky b****r
