Morning all :D

Lots of thunder and lightening last night, the internet went down and the sky signal was on/off. Bright and sunny again this morning :D

We use two computers when we are booking things……….if the price goes up and we want to book it, we go to the second laptop and the price is invariably the lower one. Many sites track you and if you return, you must be keen, so up goes the price.

Good advice from Molly Di, we've noticed it happen too.

Hope you feel better soon Debih, and hope Grumpy doesn't drive you too mad Ton x

Family spats are so silly kaz, I'm sorry for M, but the greater loss is J&J's

If it stays as nice as promised we're off out this afternoon to have a mooch round the Ramsgate Seaside Fair which has been set up on the cliff top.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

We had a quiet night here, but some rain by the look of it. Been into town this morning
on the bus, the driver of which took a wrong turning and took us on a local tour, having
to reverse the bus in the hospital car park to get back eventually on to his proper route.

Hope you all have a good day.

Get better soon, Debih.

Morning all,
Waiting for phone call to pick up car.
The courtesy car has been collected so car less at the mo :(
I think it happens in a lot of families Saundra.
My son and daughter were very close when they were young
but we only see them separately now :?
I think it is more to do with her OH. Him and my son have
never seen eye to eye even when teenagers :(

Thanks for that Molly, don't have a laptop but have tried on the tablet and got exactly the same prices
I have deliberately only looked at the actual flight prices a couple of times over a week or so; I wrote down a selection of dates we might want last week then had another look yesterday.
At the moment I'm narrowing down available properties for certain dates, then during next week will have another look at the flights; if they're still the same or more I shall hold my nerve and hope they come down later :)

Yes Kaz I rather thought it would be the brother; I almost suggested maybe giving the visit a miss but if that had come from your side it could have looked as if you were snubbing them couldn't it? Be glad you and M have done nothing wrong, unfortunately there's not much you can do about it (((x)))

I got the last space without queuing for it, by the time I left the whole car park was almost jammed :)
Hoped to get some fish but he'd already virtually sold out so treated myself to a big scoopful of prawns which will make Minnie hope I drop one while I'm shelling them :D
Oh and it's now sunny and hot hot hot :D

Thanks everyone :) Yes Di, it might have looked that way, mightn't it? :? So at least we showed willing, and I do feel sorry for poor D stuck in the middle. J upset her too, unbeknown to me at the time, before we came home and she wasn't looking forward much to them coming :( I hope they've at least managed to smooth things between them, I know I would hate to fall out badly with one of mine :(

I hope you find something nice to book Di, Molly's advice sounds good 8-) We are definitely going to book a week (hopefully in Corfu) for October, we've decided 8-) :D

Hope your shoulder feels better soon Saundra, one of Mick's team from work has gone out to France to watch the Tour :D Not for the Lycra though :P ;)

We've had a fab time out anyway, we tried out the new Wetherspoons and their beer garden is so nice - right by the side of the docks where the boats come in and the sun shone :) I stuck a coupe of pics on Facebook :) 8-)
